When are tryouts?
GHSA rules allow tryouts to begin the last full week of January. Traditionally, tryouts run three evenings with teams being announced on the final night.

Are physicals needed?
All players must have a current physical to step onto the field for tryouts. In addition, Impact testing is mandatory every two years.

Is there a discount for multiple players?
There is no discount for multiple players.

What does the player pack include?
The player pack varies from year to year. The items, designs and sizing are decided on by the coaches.

Why do we fundraise?
We fundraise to keep registration fees affordable and to offset costs of running a successful program.

And why do we start fundraising so early?
In order to effectively manage our budgetary needs we need to have adequate funds. We compete with many sports in a small area to raise the funds needed.

Does the money go to lowering dues?
The money does not go to lowering dues. Our dues are considerably lower than the perennial lacrosse powerhouses in the area.

How do we fundraise?
We have the various fundraisers: Gift Card Raffle and Golf Tournament.  We also raise funds for the program through sponsorships.

What is the Face-Off Feast?
This is a dessert event to introduce the high school teams. All families bring items to share.  Dues are collected at this dinner as well. This is also a night where parents can purchase spirit wear items.

When does Spring practice start and how often is practice?
Practice for the Spring Season begins the day after teams are selected. Players should expect to practice daily for 2 hours including some Saturdays during Spring Lacrosse.

What other conditioning should be done outside standard practice time?
Those interested in coming out for Spring Lacrosse will begin conditioning in fall under the direction of Varsity Players and Community Volunteers. This will be following a program agreed upon by the coaches.

Can you take a family vacation over February and Spring Break?
This is announced at the Face-Off Feast and is determined by the coaching staff.
